Westinghouse has conducted an audit in the Belgatom offices on 14 January 2003 in Brussels where Westinghouse has placed an order in the frame of the reevaluation of the Doel 2 Reactor Pressure Vessel internals. The documents review and audit of implementation were conducted to verify compliance with US NRC 10 CFR 50 App.B, consistently with Westinghouse quality requirements for Safety related engineering services. Westinghouse has concluded that the Belgatom QA program as documented and implemented is certainly in compliance with the applicable requirements of 10 CFR 50 App.B. Belgatom is added as a qualified supplier, for three years (with a yearly annual evaluation), to the Westinghouse Qualified Supplier List. |
