Belgatom, leader of the "Belgatom-Ansaldo-SGN" consortium, Contractor for the construction of the LRTP on the Chernobyl site, announces the completion of the main concrete structure of the LRTP building, as the last batch of structural concrete was poured on April 23rd. Taking into account the very difficult local context, this achievement is the result of the exceptional efforts of the Contractor's expatriated experts who supported the local subcontractor in the fields of work organization and planning as well as in supply of materials and equipment. Another key factor for the success of this project is the good cooperation between the Contractor and the Project Management Unit. The LRTP project is presently one of the most advanced projects managed by Western companies at the Chernobyl site. |
